Several sweets in Mexico already taste like pure chemicals

Random thought, but I honestly don't know if these dirty things have always tasted like this, but I just open the bag of Pelonetes and mothers... I feel like I literally opened a little bottle of Play-Doh. And Skittles taste metallic to me. I definitely don't know
